A £50 million contract for redevelopment works at Oxford University's Keble College has been secured by BAM Construct.
The project will involve the demolition of the former Acland private hospital to make way for the new H B Allen Centre. This will house 230 graduate rooms, along with new research facilities surrounding a new college quad.
In addition, it will include a new cafe, gym and 120-seat lecture theatre, which will be completed in 2018.
Archaeological surveys are due to begin imminently, with demolition to start in early July.
