Galliford Try has won the £12 million contract to build a new hotel at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
The five storey, 150-room Hilton Garden Inn will replace the Old Trafford Lodge, which is currently being demolished.
It represents the final stage in the redevelopment of the venue, which has included building new stands, converting the old pavilion and turning the square around so the players are not facing into the setting sun late in the season.
Galliford Try also built the Hotel Football near Manchester United's football ground just up the road, and has competed stands at two other international grounds - Edgbaston in Birmingham and Nevill Road in Bristol.
In recent years many famous old cricket grounds have been upgraded in order to compete for international fixtures against the three new venues introduced in the last 13 years, at Chester-le-Street, Cardiff and Southampton.
Last month saw Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos unveiling plans to revamp Headingley.
