Plans for a new hotel, offices and flats complex at Dundee's waterfront have been revealed.
The plans will involve a 120-bedroom upmarket hotel, 50,000 sq ft of flexible office space and 67 one, two and three-bedroom flats aimed at professionals.
It will be located next to the V&A Museum and the revamped railway station entrance, marking the latest phase on the £1 million overhaul of the city's waterfront.
Hundreds of jobs will be created in the construction process, with Robertson named as the preferred contractor.
The firm's spokesman Derek Shewan said: "Dundee waterfront is an exciting and innovative development project so we are naturally delighted to be selected.
"We are looking forward to delivering something the whole of Scotland can be proud of."
The project aims to boost the economy of a city that has fallen on relatively hard times in recent years.
It was one of four local government districts in Scotland that voted for separation during the 2014 independence referendum, a phenomenon psephologists linked with lower-income areas.
