Previously using Excel spreadsheets to manage their estimating processes, Ingenium went out to market to find a solution that would manage their core estimating, whilst also providing them with a modern easy-to use solution.
EValuate construction estimating software was a perfect fit for Ingenium, the solution offered them the ability to manage their core estimating by allowing them to quickly and easily produce bills of quantities from previous projects, they also opted to add Laxton’s Priced Libraries to provide them with resource build-ups for pricing items directly. The integrated On-screen Takeoff module will also allow them to perform a fast, accurate Takeoff from all file types on the screen whilst also allowing amendments and revisions that will automatically update the bill.
EValuate will allow Ingenium to respond to more tenders with greater accuracy which will help to make their business more efficient. They will also benefit from greater control around how they manage their subcontractors, Ingenium chose to implement the Project Enquiry Center module which allows them to issue enquiries, drawings and revisions to subcontractors whilst also allowing them to collate and analyse responses via an online subcontractor enquiry portal.
