Plans for a new weir system to reduce flood risks on the River Thames just west of London are to go on public display.
The Environment Agency is working on a project to upgrade weirs at Sunbury, Molesey and Teddington and will be holding public events in the coming days at all three locations.
Members of the public can attend the events in Sunbury Court Conference Centre, Molesey Boat Club and Tamesis Sailing Club in Teddington on March 15th, 16th and 22nd respectively, where they can hear about progress on the weirs and ask questions.
A key aspect of the scheme is the building of three flood channels to divert water away from the most at-risk areas, protecting 15,000 homes.
Director for the project at the Environment Agency Samia Khan said: "The support of the local community is crucial in helping us reduce flood risk to the thousands of properties between Datchet and Teddington."
Parts of the Thames Valley were flooded last month, including parts of London.
