In its latest report, the CITB has said the rate of job creation will run at 2.5 per cent per annum over the period.
Policy director at the CITB Steve Radley said: "All types of training, and especially apprenticeships, will be vital to delivering this pipeline of work.
"This positive forecast should inspire more people to start apprenticeships, and more firms to take them on."
The report identified upcoming projects such as the nuclear power plants at Hinckley Point in Somerset and Wylfa on Anglesey, plus rail projects like HS2 and Crossrail, as being big providers of jobs.
All regions are expected to see increases, with Wales seeing the largest at 7.1 per cent, helped by Wylfa.
Japanese company Hitachi recently formed its own UK company for the Wylfa project.
